Mini-clini+'s require you to step outside of convention, of today's restrictive thinking, in the design of clinical trial plans. It's very scary, and most practitioners will either scurry to the FDA for guidance, retreat to the safety of their 3-C's, or look to execute mini-clini's perfunctorily and not in spirit.
