How am I protected against Spam?

You will not receive spam from the institute or any of its affiliates. You will receive periodic e-mails if you sign up  for them.

As for SPAM originating from other users of the Institute, every available protection has been put in place to protect the confidentiality of your e-mail address, from HTML filters to controls such as CAPTCHA on user actions. We use the service provider Mollom to further weed out spammers. As you'll see, your e-mail address is not available to other users. When others want to contact you as author of an article, etc. they will use the protected contact form that does not reveal any private information.

You also have a responsibility to not divulge e-mail address in public forums or other locations on this site. Not yours nor that of any other WCRD member.

Spammers are clever though. If you suspect our security has been compromised please contact us immediately with details of the breach, and we will do everything possible to further increase your protections.
