Case Study – #005 Colleagues at Each Other’s Throats

Problem Statement:  Two colleagues in R&D hate each other to the detriment of overall team effectiveness; the success of our R&D effort depends on figuring out a way to get these two to work together. Both individuals are superb in their understanding of particular aspects of our research, and it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to find a replacement for either one of them. However, we won’t succeed if they each stay in their own spheres.
